Ingredients
For the Tempering

2 teaspoon oil or ghee

1 teaspoon mustard seeds

1 teaspoon Jeera

1 Tablespoon Peanuts

2 green chili chopped

7-8 Curry Leaves
For the Upma

3/4th cup Carrot
-
1 Cup Beans
-
1 Tablespoon Coriander Leaves
-
½ Cup Green Peas
-
1 cup Little or Kodo Millet

3 cups of water
Preparation
Wash and soak millet for 1 hour.

Put the kadhai on flame, add oil, and once hot add mustard seeds, jeera, and peanuts, once roasted well.

Add beans, carrots, and green peas and mix them with the tampering well for 2 minutes.

Now add water 1 cup of water and let the vegetables cook for 10 mins.

The vegetable is well cooked add the soaked millet and remaining 2 cups of water, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and salt according to the taste.

Cover it and cook till all the water is absorbed, If you like it mushy feel free to add more water.

Your millet upma will be ready in 10 Mins, top it with coriander leaves. Now enjoy the upma with tomato soup or green chutney
Tips
The cooking time will naturally reduce if the millet is soaked for longer.
