Millet Coffee porridge

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Little Millet

  • 1 Cup Milk

  • 1 & 1/2 Cup Water

  • 1 Tbsp Jaggery powder or Sugar

  • 1 Espresso shot or make Instant coffee Decoction

  • 1 Banana slices

  • Almonds chips

  • Or any toppings of your choice

Preparation:

  1. Wash and soak little millet for 30 mins.

  2. Add the soaked millet and water to a pan, and let it cook for about 5 mins.

  3. Now add the milk and let it cook properly. once cooked turn off the flame and cool it down.

  4. Now take the cooled down mixture into a mixing bowl and add jaggery powder and espresso shot. Mix it well and refrigerate for 2 hours.

  5. Add the cold porridge to a bowl garnish it with your favourite toppings and enjoy!

Tips

You can use cocoa powder instead of an espresso shot just in case you are not a coffee fan.
