Ingredients:

1 cup Kodo millet

2 cups water or Milk

Salt to taste

Cinnamon powder 1 tsp

Cardamom powder 1 tsp

Sugar or Jaggery powder (If you wish to)
How to make:

Rinse the millet in a fine-mesh strainer.

Soak the millet for 4 hours or overnight probably.

Bring the water or milk and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan.

Stir in the millet and bring the mixture back to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and the millet is tender.

Add Cinnamon powder, cardamom powder, and Jaggery powder and mix everything well

Remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes.

Fluff the millet with a fork and serve.
TIP: You can also add some Bananas, nuts and seeds to the dish.
