Easy, No-Cook, Overnight Kodo Millet with Chia, Cacao, and Maple: A Delicious and Healthy Breakfast Option

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cooked kodo millet
  • 1/2 cup milk of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh fruit (berries, banana, mango)

  • Nuts and seeds (almonds, walnuts, chia seeds)

 

 

 

Instructions:

  1. In a jar or container with a lid, combine the cooked kodo millet, plant-based milk, chia seeds, cacao powder, maple syrup, and salt. Stir well to combine.
  2. Cover the jar with the lid and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 8 hours.
  3. In the morning, stir the mixture well. The chia seeds should have absorbed some of the liquid and expanded.
  4. Top with your desired toppings and enjoy!
